Carpobrotus - Glaucescens


Carpobrotus glaucescens is an evergreen soft wooded perennial native to coastal regions of Eastern Australia. It has succulent stems and fleshy three angled leaves. It has a spreading and prostrate habit. From Spring to Autumn it produces deep purple flowers with satiny petals. Carpobrotus glaucescens prefers full sun and well drained sandy soil.
