How do I care for my succulent?

The golden rule for succulents is "less is more." Most varieties thrive on neglect and prefer the "soak and dry" method—only water your plant when the soil is completely bone-dry, and ensure it has plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. However, keep in mind that the succulent family is huge! Different succulent types require different care depending on their origin and leaf structure. To ensure your specific variety flourishes, we recommend                                                                     to get the best tailored advice for your plant. How we are reducing our environmental footprint:

​We do not use soft plastics with our packaging unless it's being re-used from our suppliers. We also  use Bio-Fill as our packing peanuts which is a 100% Biodegradable & is made from Australian corn and potato starch. When immersed in water it dissolves with no harmful residue and can be disposed of with rubbish as it completely breaks down. How great is that?!!!​

Where we deliver to?:

We offer shipping within Australia however due to bio security laws we cannot send plants & arrangements to TAS, NT or WA. If you attempt to order a live plant item from TAS, NT or WA you will receive a refund for that portion of your order, minus a $5.00 processing fee. Thank you for understanding :)

We deliver non living items such as the handcrafted planters and accessories Australia wide.

How do we package our plants for delivery?:

At Happy Succas, we treat every plant like a VIP (Very Important Perennial) to ensure it arrives at your doorstep healthy, hydrated, and ready to thrive. Our specialized packaging process begins with a thorough inspection, followed by securing the soil with eco-friendly wraps to prevent spills during transit. We then cradle each succulent in breathable, protective cushioning to shield delicate leaves from bumps along the way. Finally, your new green friends are nestled into sturdy, reinforced boxes designed to maintain a stable internal environment, no matter how long the journey. We take the stress out of shipping so you can focus on the joy of unboxing.

How is delivery charged?:

Delivery is calculated in tiers of weight/volume ranging from 0.01kg to 40kgs. Shipping over 40kgs will require a second order to be placed. Orders containing plants are posted express post.​​

When will your order be delivered?:

Plants and arrangements are sent out Mondays and Tuesdays (with the exception of public holidays) via express post to assure plant health. Cut offs for orders are 12pm the Thursday before, this allows us to dry out the plant before shipping. Orders placed after the cut off day will be sent the following Monday or Tuesday.​

* Handcrafted planters may take up to 5 business days to ship, dependent upon availability.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

- Not any 1 plant is exactly the same and minor variations may occur such as plant size and colour. Plants may also have minor scarring or marks on them, succulents will grow out of this.

- Perfectly imperfect: our concrete planters are all handmade so you may notice some minor imperfections such as air bubbles, voids and pin holes which brings out the natural look of our concrete creations.

Pictures and information are intended as a guide only.

- If you attempt to order a live plant item from TAS, NT or WA you will receive a refund for that portion of your order, minus a $5.00 processing fee.

How items are sent:

Due to the nature of the products and movement with shipping, arrangements are sent as a DIY kit with full instructions of how to assemble your beautiful creation.

- All plants are inspected and we package our products with love and care using environmentally sustainable packaging.

- Plants are sent bare rooted (without pots or soil)​

​- Happy Succas advises strongly that orders with plants in them need to be sent via express post to ensure they arrive in a healthy manner. It is the customers responsibility to select this option upon checkout. If you do not select express post for a 'live' order we will send your order via standard post and take no responsibility for how the plant arrives.

My item arrived damaged!

We rely on a third party courier to get your package(s) out to you in the great shape they’ve left us in. Although the nature of our products are fragile and unfortunately sometimes things can go wrong :(

​

Some plants can be very delicate and leaves may drop off during shipping (but don't stress, a lot of succulents can be propagated by their leaves!). Just head over to our buds @ Succulents & Sunshine - How to Propagate Succulents from Leaves and Cuttings! Shifting of arrangements may also occur. By placing your order you accept that Happy Succas will not be responsible if this type of damage or disruption occurs.

Change of mind:

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds if you simply change your mind so please be mindful when purchasing.

Free Shipping Code:

Ideally we would love to be absolutely on point with our stock availability however to be able to provide such an extensive range of living items, it is difficult to keep up with inventory daily so from time to time some items may be unknowingly out of stock. If you place an order qualified for free shipping and any item(s) are out of stock which then may take your order under the $135.00 qualifying price you will be offered either:

- an exchange for the same value

- a refund for the unavailable items and you will be invoiced for the cost of shipping.

We will attempt to make contact with you twice via email and text message regarding this. Should we not hear back from you, you will be refunded your unavailable plant(s) minus the shipping fee.
