Dormancy (Late Spring & Summer): As the weather warms, the plant will naturally enter a dormancy period. The leaves will start to yellow and die back. At this point, significantly reduce or even stop watering altogether. The bulb needs a dry rest. You can move the pot to a shadier spot during dormancy.  
Resume watering when you see new growth emerging in the fall.
